As I noted the other day, Kinja has been doing a weird thing where it duplicates my posts in the dashboard:
This one gave be a very strong non-parallel lines illusion though (the roof appears to angle down much more sharply in the bottom photo even though the images are the same).
Sploid did a post on this effect a while back:

Noticed that too.
My posts & comments appear on my dashboard because I “follow” myself. It keeps my recent comments readily available just in case I need to make a quick edit for spelling or whatever before the 15 minutes is up.
Does Kinja make that self-follow automatic now? I can’t seem to find a way to unfollow myself anymore to check. I wonder if it’s showing those entries twice because it’s combining my original follow with some new auto -follow feature?

Yeah, I’m not sure but I’ve been wondering if that’s what’s going on.
